Crash at lab (develop equipment)

Playing as P2 in MP on PS5 (host is also PS5). Game crashes every time I go to the lab and click on "Develop Equipment".

Happens every time. All times and dates. Does not happen to host.

I would like to add, as P2 on Steam, this happens to me as well.

@waxen mural while I don't have a video atm, this crash happens AS SOON as you click the option to develop equipment. It will not open the menu or anything. Just straight crash. Like Vampi stated, it happens every time, no matter, time/date/weather.

I am on ps5, my P2 gets this crash bug quite often. Not every single time.

@waxen mural this is essentially the same thing that happens with me as well, P2 on steam, except instead of that error I keep getting Unreal engine crash. Like everyone else, it doesn't matter day of week, time of day, season, full or empty inventory, etc. We even thought the fact that I had a larger box mod and he didn't was causing the issue, but it happens with or without the mod as well

Sorry I forgot to post the video but I see Demo has now.

I also just realised that the recipes the host develops at the lab do not unlock for everyone else, so we're having to rely on the host to craft everything for us

Thanks for the details you’ve shared! Could you let us know if you’re playing using a keyboard & mouse or a controller? This info will help us narrow down the cause of the crash.

You can find them by following these steps:

• Copy and paste this into the File Explorer address bar: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes
• Sort the files by Date Modified to locate the correct date when the crash happened.
• Look for a file ending in .xml and share it here.

Just popping up to report that last night i had the same crash happen to me.
I clicked "Develop Equipment" and it crashed, im P2 on Steam using controller.
Any other shop option works fine.
Host is also on Steam and using controller and afaik all options work for them but will double check.
Will try to record it and also get the crash log and the save files from the host and post them later.

My Husband has been trying to join me on multiplayer (he's plays on PS5 and I play on steam) and the game keeps crashing and kicking him out as well. We've been trying for 20 minutes now but every time he clicks the save to try and join it crashes immediately. This is the first time we've run into this issue.

I wanted to update that we continued our file tonight and I went to the Oracle's chambers and tried to develop the equipment there and got a crash there as well.

Just noting that my husband and I are also having this issue on PS5. I'm able to do the lab recipes no problem, but the game crashes on him if he tries to go into that menu. Unfortunately, this means at this time he cannot get the trophy for crafting everything since he does not learn the recipes when I do.

does that happen even if you both restart the game?
i had this happen to me (on steam) but once we both restarted i could open that menu without crashing
