Dehydrator bug (all systems reported)

I am not 100% if it is a mp bug or not, but my dehydrator(s) has been bugged to where if I take one dried product, the rest in the dehydrator start over even if they were all done, before I took one out.

Same for me. Play on PS5 Pro and it’s been driving me crazy since it happens often. I have three and fill as much as I can daily. But once completed, I remove an item and the rest all have to start back over. Frustrating though because it doesn’t happen all the time for me, so not sure what is causing it.

Same, it isn’t all the time just every now and then, and sometimes only one starts over

This also happens for me in single player on PC. It's inconsistent, but it happens sometimes.

If you can remember, what were you doing the day before and earlier that morning before you went to collect the finished items from your Dehydrator? Any details you can share will help us get to the bottom of it!

hi guys~ I noticed this issue before the update, and today, after the update, same thing happen. i'm on steam. dehydrator has the items processed, i take one item out to the bag and the rest goes back do square 0, will try and record - will leave a print, I dont think it will help much but yeah - was the first thing I did on the new day

so I went back to title screen and started the game again, but this time, the dehydrator has NO processed items 😮 so I guess the bug is... it says it has the item processed? but in reality, they aren't?

happen again, put the items to process, went to bed, item were "ready" the next day - after getting the 1st one to my bag all the others went back to square 0, at the end of the video you see the timer go back

Hey, thank you for sending updates about your findings and the video to show the issue clearly! Since you seem to take the processed items out in the morning, it seems that you put them into the dehydrator on the day before. Could you confirm at what time did you put the items into the dehydrator? And if you remember exactly what you did on the day before, could you tell us in more detail?

Also, if you haven't gone too far in the game, could you share your Save File and Backup Files here so we can take a closer look?

Hello, I have the exact same issue (on Steam), I am suspecting this happens only when the dehydrator is completely filled with processed items. Because I'm pretty sure this issue only started to happen when I had enough items to completely fill the machine. I'll update here later if I notice something else

just did a test with 9 items instead of 10 and waited overnight for it to dehydrate, the issue was still there in the morning

maybe it's the overnight dehydrating that's causing the issue

did another test overnight with only 2 items, same issue. But everything works fine if you let it dehydrate during the day and get it before the next day so now I'm pretty sure the bug happens when you have items more than 1 item in the dehydrator and it goes to the next day

Thank you for sharing your findings with us! Do you notice the issue only happening for sea scavengeables or does it also apply to processed hays? Could you also send your Save Files and Backup Files here so we can take a closer look? For your convenience, you can compress the SaveGames folder into a ZIP file before sending it here!

I 've never processed hays but I can give it a try 🙂

I've just started my day on this save file and the bug did not appear 💀
I'll do another day and if the bug appears I'll update the save file

ok, so more info:

• The bug also appears with fiber -> hays
• The bug does not appear with a fresh load of the save, but does appear on following days 🙂

so no need to give you another save file, you'll just need to put items (fiber or scavangeable) in the dehydrator, go to bed and voila, the bug should appear
