Hi there, i've recently just got a controller that has xbox layout but of a different brand but I somehow can't get it to work but it works very well with other games. Just wondering if it's because it's not from XBox that the controller is not working or?
I tried looking for solutions on this bug thread but couldn't find it either.
Game version: v1.2 - 1238
Game Platform: Steam on PC
Input Mode: Controller
Controller Model: Gamesir T4 Nova Lite

Hey, bumping this up!! 🙏
If you go to Steam library > Coral Island, youll see Play. To the right, there's a gear icon. Select that> Properties> Controller. From there, there should be a drop down menu saying Use default setting. Change that to Enable Steam Input and see if that work.

Tried it the last time! Unfortunately it just doesn't work. If it does, at most the cursor will move but I can't select anything 😅 But thanks though!

I have a non xbox controller and mine work. Have you tried deleting the bluetooth device and then pair it again?

Hmm, yeah I just did it. It seem to only work for one community controller layout but even with that it's still kinda whack

If I am understanding, the controller work now but the controller layout is kinda weird. The controller I used when paired with bluetooth, was using a nintendo switch controller layout. When connected with the dongle, it uses the xbox controller layout. I couldnt figure out how to not have it go nintendo switch controller layout while still on bluetooth so I just use my dongle.
