Hi, I can't find anything on Nexus about existing mods working in multiplayer, has anyone tried to see if they work? I use a movement speed mod bc I have a disability that makes holding down keys for a long time (like for movement) challenging, and was wondering if I can play with mods with my partner.

WeMod has been working (mostly) for me and my husband. There’s been bugs like auto fishing working for me, the host, and not him. The movement speed mod worked for both of us though!

I would be careful if you're using mods on Nexus mods, the Nexus mods may be broken or not work in multiplayer yet. You may need to wait a bit for the mod authors to update and test their mods. You can also check the comments on the respective mods to see others have already tried and if it worked for them or not.

If you guys don't mind testing them yourself you can definitely try but be warned they may break the save or just plain not work. Usually in mulitplayer games with mods, all players need to have installed the same mods when playing so that's something else to keep in mind if you're planning using Nexus mods.

Additionally, as Vixia mentioned, mods aren't supported. If you encounter a bug or crash while using them, the devs won't be able to accurately find or fix the problem because of not knowing if it's the game itself or the mods breaking something unexpected in the unseen codings
