As the title says. My boyfriend bought this game for me so we can play co-op together. He's able to connect to the lobby perfectly fine, but every time I try to sign in to get online, I get "Connection failed. Try again later."
It's been giving me that error since yesterday. Can anyone please help?

Ask your friend that's hosting for an invite code and join using that. It worked for people

How can he send me the invite code? I'm unable to "sign in" or connect to online in the game at all. There's no option in the main menu to enter an invite code, either.

Oh, I fixed the problem! The .exe of the game was using Administrator privileges which was preventing me from connecting online, because it was blocking online access. I'm able to see that menu now, as I wasn't able to before. Thanks for the help anyway though, I appreciate it.

My husband and I are trying to play together but every time one ofnus tries to host, the other cannot connect. It says connection is unstable. We have tried re-starting and verifying the files through steam. It would be nice to have a local play option. But until then, maybe just a way to connect at all. We have been waiting so long to play together, we are super bummed.

Yes, on Steam. We just tried it again to show you the screenshot and it worked! We tried so many times before. I have no clue what changed.
