I do not have a crash report because my friend is hosting.
But there has been a disconnection at the end of the day. We noticed it happened when the mines were unlocked.
However, it might also be tied to them being in bed as the cutscene played out rather than the mines itself.
Also Cherry Blossom festival crashes before the game can save and move to the next day.
We were able to get passed it. We think it is tied to the sack race minigame, because we skipped it and the day saved as normal.

Hello @restive hollow ,
So sorry for the crash. 🙇♀️ Could you let us know what platform you and your friend are using in the session?
If you could also share a bit more info by following the https://discord.com/channels/623097219628662784/1405500927292477561 or filling out the template below, that would be super helpful for our team. Thank you so much! 🙏

So sorry! I didn't actually see that pinned message. I've filled out what I could. I filled it out twice, once for the Mines issue and once for the Cherry Blossom Festival.
-Title:
3 Player, crashes when everyone is in bed, after reaching the bottom of the mines.
-Reproduction Steps:
Made 3 failed attempts to get passed the day. Each day 1 player made it to the bottom of the mines. 2 of those days, a different player triggered the first scene with the 2 merfolk. 3rd player was tending the farm, no events triggered.
-Repro Rate:
3 out of 4.
Our 4th try solution was 2 players left the game and let the host rest on their own. This allowed the day to advance.
-In-Game Date & Time:
Date Unsure, after the Cherry Blossoms, before the Tree Festival. Time was around midnight.
-Players & Platform:
3 Players. 2 PC and 1 Steam Deck.
-Input Mode:
All 3 Players using Keyboard and Mouse. (Steam Deck user has an adaptor.)
PC Specs: If you’re on PC, please check your system using this guide.,
-Attachments (if available):
No Crash log shown, just a disconnection. (I am not the host.)
It happened again on the next set of Mines, but we noticed the host was in bed and did not get the cutscene. We think perhaps the crash is related to them not seeing the cutscene, rather than the mines itself.
So we tried again, did everything normal, but made the host go to bed last. This allowed the day to save as normal. So we think that was the issue.
-Title:
2 Player crash after Cherry Blossom Festival before saving.
-Reproduction Steps:
2 Attempts, went to the festival, spoke to everyone, did the sack race, threw food in for the potluck, went home to sleep, then crashed.
(This also happened to us during Multiplayer testing beta.)
-Repro Rate:
2 out of 3.
Our 3rd try solution was we just threw in the food, did not participate in the sack race or speak to the npcs. The day advanced as normal.
-In-Game Date & Time:
End of Day, Cherry Blossom Festival.
-Players & Platform:
2 Players, 1 PC and 1 Steam Deck.
-Input Mode:
Both Players using Keyboard and Mouse. (Steam Deck user has an adaptor.)
+1 on the mine one, had me and my GF rage quit after losing the whole day 2 time
omg...same...not the first time, and it's disheartening...
@wind moat @prisma wave Did one of your players happen to be in bed at the time of the cutscene?
Yep, that's what we have seen so far. If someone is in bed (and misses the cutscene) it will always crash. Have since finished three more mines and make sure everyone is awake before stepping on to level 40 and triggering the cutscene and have had no further crashes.
I don't think so, my friend was in the mines, I was in bed. I've had it crash three times total since playing the update, and it's always when one of us is in bed and the other is still not.
a bit more precise after some testing it seems to happen if any cinematic triggers while a player is in bed, even if you get up to see the cinematic
Hello everyone. If you happen to replicate the issue again, could you capture a video of both Guest's POV and the Host’s POV? This would be extremely helpful for us to investigate further. Thank you so much!
didn't replicate because it's a bit hard to do but the sequence of event is essentially
- one player is doing something the could trigger a cinematic late at night (most probably finishing to clear the mine due to it's nature)
- other player is going to bed and end up on the waiting x/y player
- cinematic trigger
- when the other player goes to sleep the game crash with an unreal engine 4 log
I remember it happening whenever the cinematic skipped or if the other player "got out of bed" to watch it
