I tried to do a quick search about it and haven't seen any reports about this yet, but it went like this: my friend and I started a file, we're nearly at the end of spring. Each time I launch the game (I am host), I try to put it into global pause so I wouldn't do too much of the day without her. Only, when she joins (P2) and I'm still paused, she can move and I'm unable to resume play at all. Just completely stuck and can't resume, even if the menu says that it's resumed. It's happened all 3 times that we've done it that way. I'm fairly certain it has to do with joining while the pause is going on. We're both on steam, updated to the most recent update (1.2-1238). Quitting the game and relaunching without the pause is fine, as well as pausing at any time after that.

It would be especially helpful if you could include both the Host’s and Guest’s points of view while the global pause issue is happening. okay well now I look silly because I can't reproduce the issue 😅 maybe the hotfix wasn't applied before the freezing and it fixed itself with the server smoothing stuff or something. sorry to bother 🙇♀️
