Crash with image on sign

Every time I put an image to put on a makeshift sign the game crashes. Multiplayer 4 players not as a host.

Just to clarify—when we say repro rate, we mean how many times the crash occurred. For example, did it happen again after restarting the game and trying to put the image on the Sign once more?

Same thing happening to me!

Title: Game crashes when displaying items on signs
Reproduction Steps: Put an item to display onto a wooden sign
Repro Rate: Randomly. It happened when I put wood on the sign, then a carrot and a couple other objects randomly
In-Game Date & Time: Summer 2 Year 1 (happened days after that too)
Players & Platform: 3 players (both on PC via steam)
Game Version: v.1.2-1238
Input Mode: Controller
PC Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core Processor
(really hard to clip since my clipping method can only take the last 90 seconds but my game crashes)

Could you please share both the Crash Log and your SaveGames folder in a ZIP file here?

• You can find the Crash Log by copy-pasting this file path into your File Explorer bar:

%localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes

• The SaveGames folder is located under the Saved folder.

May I ask if you're the host of the session?
Did the crash (unreal engine window pop-up) appears to all players?

No I was not the host, and it was just happening to me. The host is able to properly see all of the signs. When I joined the server again yesterday myself and the other who joined our server can’t see what’s on the signs now

Ahh, I see! I'll add that to the notes. Do you remember which item you tried to display on the Signs? Did the same issue happen with different items too?

i remember one of the crashes was wood and another was a carrot, I havent played on the server in a couple days but i will try to remember to record the next time im on!

same crash happened in our mp game(i am not host, Neither was the one who crashed,) friend crashed while messing with the stone sign and afterwards the sign has become unbreakable blocking are stone gate

Could you let us know how many players were in the session and which platform each of them was using? Did the player who experienced the crash play on Steam?

there were 4 players, all of us are on steam

Ahh, gotcha! Could you help us out by sharing the host’s save file so we can take a closer look?
The host can find it by copying and pasting this path into File Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames
They can ZIP the SaveGames folder and drop it here.

Also, if possible, could the player who had the crash share their crash log file too? That one’s located here: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes [the .xml file]

My bad the one who crashed was not on steam they are on PlayStation
