P2 seeing objects that are not there on hosts game

Issue: P2 seeing objects that are not there on hosts game.

• Reproduction Steps No know trigger, has occurred under water each time. Items seen were not harvested, and were not visible on the hists game at any time. P2 could not interact with them. Host seemed to glitch on P2 screen when passing over items.

• Repro Rate On day day 8, summer 1 have had 4 or 5 occurrences. Occurred each time both of us have gone diving.

• Game Platform Xbox Series X (2 consoles, same room)

• Game Version Build version 1.2-1238

• Input Mode Controller

• Attachment Note, another item (black urchin) was visible on P2 screen just south of screenshots.

Attachments - pic showing salt & sea mushroom were P2 screen, pic without os host. Taken one after another (within 5-10 seconds)

Hi @junior moth , thank you for reaching out to us! Did you notice it happening with any other sea forgeable other than sea mushroom and sea salt?

We did indeed. As noted, the black sea urchin was also seen where it shouldnt be, but the most common one is Kelp. Over last night's play we've seen the issue occur with bronze silver and gold kelp. B9th before and after triggering the merfolk scenes.

I believe it's just objects harvested within a single play session that aren't disappearing for guests. I've had the same thing happen with rocks, grass and trees on land. All of the "ghost objects", from what I noticed, would've been harvested by the guest.

It's most noticeable in the mines when rock domino procs. The ghost rocks can't be struck with a pickaxe but still act as a barrier to movement. Clearing grass will leave bits here and there that cannot be cleared and will obstruct buildings when trying to place them in the same location (guest only). It also happens with trees and stumps but to a far lesser extent.

With the ghost trees and stumps we found the solution was to place and break an object in the same space as many times as needed and it would clear the ghost object.

Had same. Both pc. My p2 underwater would see kelp but could not interact with it. Me as host just didnt see it.

We've it seen it anywhere other than diving, and there are items on P2's screen that were never on hosts screen

If you happen to run into the issue again, could you record a video from the Host's and Guest's point of view? Please be sure to include Guest's attempt to take or break the object, as it would really help us further investigate the issue.

This happened to us last night. I am host on the right. P2 is left. P2 couldn't plant on that empty spot. Its because there was grass on host's screen that P2 couldn't see.
