#[Bug] "Starlet Expedition" – objectives not counting

Reproduction Steps

  • Quest Starlet Expedition has been active in my save for a long time.

  • I obtained at least:
    • 30 × Osmium Kelp Essence
    • 75 × Osmium-quality crops
    Notes:
    Items are in my main inventory (not in chests, not shipped).
    Quest was accepted long before I gathered these items.

  • Check quest tracker: it remains at 0/30 and 0/75, no matter what.

Repro Rate
50% for me (every attempt since Year 2, Fall Day 18). If needed I can retry on specific dates.

V1.2-1238

Input Mode
Keyboard and mouse

Additional Info
You can see in the screenshot that I have the required resources in my inventory, but the quest tracker on the top right does not register them.
The screenshot was taken on Fall 18, but I have since progressed to Fall 21 in my save and no longer have the required items in my inventory. Would that be an issue for resolving this problem?
If needed, I can provide you with another save file where I still have all the required items on me.
This issue has been happening since the latest update.

Hey everyone, sorry for the late reply!
The team is already working on a fix. Based on our investigation, this happens when the quest is partially submitted and then the game is exited or closed, which causes the progress to reset.

As a temporary workaround, we recommend gathering all the required items first and then submitting them all at once. Until the fix is released, it’s best to hold onto the items if you’re still in the process of collecting them.
