I'm slightly confused how the new UI works. Before when a New Event popped up it tells me where the location and time is but now it doesn't say anything and just says Available see hangout 2 and no other information. How do I find out where the event is?

If it states “heart event” then there will be a time and place.
A hangout event is new introduced system. Just ask them to hangout and then cutscene will play.
And on and on.
