I've done this loads of times before and it's always been okay.
Reproduction steps: No idea, just use ctrl+esc to open discord and talk to your friend for a few minutes and then try to go back to the game.
Repro rate: First time this has ever happened
Game platform: Steam
Input mode: Keyboard and mouse

Could you let us know if the issue still occurs after restarting the game and repeating the same steps? Also, how many hours had you played before the issue happened?

Hello! This hasn't happened again but I've only been doing short pauses to check the wiki or check my spreadsheet.
I had been playing for about two hours or so when it happened.
