#XBOX: Crash on joining Host.

  • Title: Crashing on joining host.

  • Reproduction Steps: Will join host, the character screen will appear and when it finishes loading the game crashes to the XBOX Home Screen. Host is fine and can play without problems but the game refuses to let the joiner into the game.

  • Repro Rate: Every time you try to connect to host. Haven’t been able to join at all.

  • In-Game Date & Time: N/A

  • Players & Platform: Tried it both ways, as the host and as the joiner. The joiner always crashes - Both players on XBOX SERIES S

  • Game Version: v1.2-1238

  • Input Mode: Controller

Thank you for reporting this issue. I'm sorry you experienced a crash during your session.

Did you encounter any trouble joining the session before the crash occurred?
Also, could you check if the problem you faced looks similar to what’s shown in another player's video here?

Yes the video matches the problem and we did not encounter any problems until the crash, no issues with connectivity as far as we could see.

Also to reiterate. This happened between 2 Xbox consoles. I tried hosting and my friend crashed - we then tried the other way around and the same problem.

I think the video shown was an Xbox connecting to steam. Again, it matches and shows what happens.

Weirdly, we thought it could be the cross platform causing problems and turned it off but we still crashed.
