Description
If a player joins the host’s game during a sleep/day-transition cutscene (such as a dream sequence), the joining player is placed in their home but becomes stuck waiting for other players to sleep.
Meanwhile, the host’s game shows the "waiting for players to respond" prompt for that player, causing all players to be soft-locked.
The only way to proceed is for the host to forcibly close the game via external means (e.g., Alt+F4, Task Manager).
When the host reloads the save, the joining player’s character is reset to default, losing:
• All items (except tools)
• All clothing
• All customizations (except name)
• possibly all skill levels (i don't know, i didn't ask but it'd make sense that it would)
• possibly all relationship levels (i don't know, i didn't ask but it'd make sense that it would)
This effectively wipes the joining player’s progress and appearance.
Reproduction Steps
1: Host is in a day-transition cutscene (sleep/dream)
2: Second player joins during the cutscene
3: Both players become stuck in separate, unresolvable states
4: Host must forcibly close the game
5: Upon reload, joining player’s character is completely reset
