Hello, I’ve encountered a problem with my Aging Barrel — it duplicates items. I use an automatic chest for making mead, and normally, once it’s finished, the mead goes straight into the chest. However, in my case, it duplicates! It takes the finished mead and continues aging it, which makes the waiting time much longer. I have to break the automatic chest and place it again every day. I experienced this issue before the 1.2 update.

Hi @lost cobalt , thank you for reaching out to us! Regarding the auto chest, it’s actually part of our intended design for the cactus mead to be transferred back into the aging barrel.
This allows the quality to increase after the aging process. For example, putting a normal quality cactus mead back into the barrel will upgrade it to bronze quality once the process is complete - i hope this clear things up for you

Oh! I never knew that before. thank you for explaining. I must confess that I had been trying to find other players who experienced the same situation as I did, and everyone told me it was a bug, which at the time I also thought was just a bug waiting to be fixed. But now I understand that it’s actually a feature of the game. Thank you so much.

my dumb a** actually thought that was a glitch in my save which I enjoy since I played with mods and can process many items at once, really nice to know
