Romance question

Hello I recently came back into the game after waiting out for the new revamp romance update to be released. I would like to know if you were to get married to one person after dating several people at the same time, do the relationship status you have with them change to friends/exes or you will still be dating them even though you are already married? Also is there a break up option when you are dating?

there isn’t a breakup option and even though i’m a fan of the game, this made me a little booed with the update. i was reeeeeally excited to be able to have some drama on my wedding life and just noted that we CAN’T divorce/breakup or be poly when married.
i play coral island since the very beginning, so it isn’t my vibe to restart a new solo save just for the romance… I wonder if the devs will add the divorce/breakup/DRAMA at all option soon.

ALSO I started playing a loooong time ago, so when the people from ocean came along, I was already commited and really wanted to break up lol

They have stated that is not something they are or will be working on. If it does come it won’t be until much much later. Unfortunately if you want new dialogue and you’re married you will have to start over they stated that in their live a few months ago

No breakup option at all. If you’re on steam you can copy your save file and date everyone that way

Or marry them. You can date as many as you want

Also if you get married you can no longer date anyone else so if you want I see all the heart events you need to date before picking someone
