#No Harvest Festival

Reproduction Steps - today is the day of the harvest festival and when I go to Alun-Alun Square nothing is triggering the event. Also, in addition to the festival not loading, the cut scene for General Store: Animal Abundance played again for a second time today in game
Repro Rate- only once, I plan on logging off after posting this for tonight
Game Platform - Steam
Game Version - V 1.2-1238
Input Mode - Keyboard and mouse

I was able to get the harvest festival to trigger today when I reopened the game, however I did have the cutscene for General store for a 3rd time.

Hi! I just had this issue as well. My PS5 game version is v1.2-1239

I had the problem with Harvest Festival not happening today. The festival area is open but no orb has appeared to start. I did complete the ocean cleanup the day before. Do you want me do drop the save file in here?

I have the same issue, playing on steam with v 1.2-1239
The day leading up to festival:

  • Did daily farm tasks
  • Got upgraded weapon back from blacksmith
  • Bought seeds at general store and had a cutscene there for ||artisan items quest||
  • Fishing in forest near cave entrance

Reloading the game fixed the issue, did the same things during the day except going to general store and fishing

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for sharing all this info with us—it’s been really helpful for the team in figuring out what’s going on and what might trigger this bug. After looking into it, we found that the issue happens if you use up all your stamina the day before, right up until you’re about to pass out and the screen turns grey.

In the meantime, a temporary workaround is to avoid letting your stamina run out completely. If you’re already on the festival day and it doesn’t trigger, reloading the game should make the festival start properly.

I've also had this issue and I believe it may be directly tied to fast traveling. The festivals break any time I use fast travel on a festival day, but if I don't, they're fine
