Can’t character select when loading into game.

Reproduction Steps: my friend and I made a world just fine. We played for a few in game days. She’s the host. We needed to restart the day so she logged out and loaded it back up. I took her invite to join back and I can’t select my farmer to join back. There’s no option to press A.

• Repro Rate: this is the first time we’ve loaded into the world. I tried to get in multiple times and I couldn’t. Tried to restart the game multiple times.
• In-Game Date & Time: when I tried to load into her game, I couldn’t.
• Players & Platform: 2 players. My friend was the host and I’m player 2. We’re both on Xbox
• Game Version: v1.2-1238
• **Input: on controller.

Here same issue. I was playing with gamepad. Swiched to mouse and keyboard, there i could hover over over my character and then appeared a button. I believe it sayed "Select character". Which i could click. But sadly not doable with gamepad controller.

I was using just a normal Xbox controller and couldn’t get it to select. Glad it’s not just me lol

Someone please address this! Even this all the patches and hot fixes, I still can’t get into the game!

It doesn’t allow me to select my farmer.

@rustic abyss i have tried to get a video for you but im still unable to even load in to the game to get to the character selection screen.

Oh I got in. I understand the issue. It doesn’t make it obvious that I have to click the words “select character”

Click where it says “select character” and it will load you in. 😭😭

Hi to follow up on this, were you finally able to load into the session by moving your cursor to "select character"?
