[Technical Question] Washed out visuals and graphics

Does anyone have any idea what this issue might be? I downloaded the game to play with my wife but it is basically unplayable because of how the graphics are rendered. For reference my PC has an Intel i5-12400f and an AMD RX 6650xt. Are there any know issues with the game and similar hardware?
