I updated the game on my Xbox series s. And now the game crashes every 30 minutes. It’s crashed on me maybe 10 times today. 🙁 I can’t get through a whole day. Sometimes I’ll even have the game paused and it’ll crash on me. It just completely closes out.

Its happening to me too but on my ps5. It was like 3pm in game and it crashed

Happened to me during the animal festival on PC. Game froze and I couldn’t access task manger or anything to shut the game down. Had to turn my computer off using the power button

Crashed here after the end of a day as well in co-op Mode. Ps5 player in co-op with PC user. I guess the servers are overflowing now...? Can't reconnect since.

Literally just happened to me on laptop/Steam.

10am and Task Manager showed "shipping.exe" was not responding.

Crash report didn't come up, game simply froze. Have turned off for the night in case it's a bug.

I've had crashes before now and then but never a complete game freeze.

Same. Game freezed when I was in the mines... and ofc after I did so much over the day and wanted to go for the rest in the mines. It's annoying when that happens and have to do everything again... And I play on ps5.

I got two consecutive crashes on PS5 after interacting with Ling to get the diving suit. On attempting the same day a third time, I tried seeing Ling before doing other quests and that kept my game from crashing. Specifically, starting the goddess altars quest line BEFORE talking to Ling at the pier seemed to trigger the crash, which doesn’t happen when doing those quests in the opposite order.

I crashed twice. I am not playing multiplayer. I play on PC. I started a new save file with the new update and was playing Day 4. I checked the weather before going to bed, but it froze. I had to use Task Manager to close the game. I was able to get through Day 4, but I didn’t check the weather or interact with the tv at all. On Day 5, I was going through my storage on the farm in the evening, and it froze again. I used Task Manager to close the game.

If you're playing on Steam PC, you can record a video using Steam Game Recording feature. Kindly follow the steps below to activate it:

  • Click the Steam icon (top left corner) > Settings > Game Recording.
  • Choose your recording mode: "Record Manually" or "Record in Background" (recommended: Length: 60+ minutes, Quality: Medium, Frame Rate: 30)
  • Launch Coral Island and play as usual!
  • If using “Record in Background,” recording starts immediately as the game launches.
  • If using "Record Manually", use the shortcut keys to start or stop the recording.
  • To view your recording: Click View > Recording & Screenshots.
  • Right-click the video > Share > Export video file.
  • The video is saved in your preferred folder and you can post it on your report post.

Mine is crashing on spring day 4 year 1 too.

I play on PS5 and seem to be freezing randomly on the same day (Fall 21, Year 3) This is a save I’ve been playing since PS5 release. My last freeze occurred when I opened up my inventory screen, walked away to get something, came back, and it was completely frozen, with an anomaly, which showed an item’s description for the previous row, while I had a blank slot selected. I also notice that the game seems to kind of lag hard when I’m in the areas of town with the festival decorations up, which there should not be that kind of lag, on a PS5, anyways. As it is a freeze and not an outright crash, I don’t get the Sony error report thingy:(. Also it is just the game that freezes, as I can still press the PS button and close the game out on the Home Screen.
Not sure if it is an issue. I hope that the save file, being since 1.0 isn’t the issue.

mine is crashing randomly throughout the day, i’m on pc, not playing multiplayer, and just doing things normally. but it crashes so much it’s basically unplayable 😭

I have been having it crash randomly as well. The first time I was just putting stone walk ways down on my farm in the evening and it just randomly crashed showing the Unreal engine crash report. Happened another couple times with me just going in and out of my barn and coop, this last time I was finishing the Pet race during the festival and my whole computer and game froze, then it showed the Unreal Engine crash report window. I went to check to make sure I was running the right system specs, thinking that maybe the new update made it need a higher specs, but I have well over the recommended specs to play the game with no issues. None of this happened before the update

I just got the game and it has been crashing randomly as well and it's really discouraging. I'm playing a solo save as well as a co-op with a friend and it happens in both. really sucked when it happened while I was on my way to bed to save and lost an entire day of progress 😦

Could you let us know what year and date you're currently at in the game? Also, during your next gameplay session, it would be incredibly helpful if you could record a short video and send it here if the crashing issue happens again. That way, we can take a closer look at all the details and better understand what's causing the problem Chicken_Pondering_Emoji

I have an Xbox X and after the update I can’t finish out a day. It’s crashed twice at different times (editing the name of a container and after leaving the clinic post marriage scene with Charles ). And then I had another crash right when I was in middle of working thru the Savannah mines which, as you can guess, was my last straw and I haven’t played in a while since. Before this update I have never had a problem with crashing so I gotta assume it was due to the update
