Save file gone

Hello there 🙂 Soo this might not be a "bug" but I thought this channel would suit our problem best. We played the mp a lot during the test period and where hoping we could start where we left off. But now when I start it there is no save file in multiplayer anymore. Where these files saved locally instead? Because while we waited I switched my PC and had to download the game again.

Again this might not be a bug since the dev team might not have had a long-lasting save in mind. Anyone that did found there save while trying out the official Coral Island multiplayer please reply to my post so I know if it is only me or not 🙂

Unfortunately, if you joined the Beta testing before, the save file is only compatible during that testing period. This means it can’t be used or transferred to the main branch, as it could cause bugs or other issues.

On the bright side, you can now start fresh with the more stable version of the game!

Nooooo 🙁 It might have been a short period but I am pretty sure we had somewhat 80-100 hours..... Well I guess we should have rather waited for the finished version lol
To be honest it is kind of demotivating right now so we will probably wait a bit
Not to demotivating to not play it again though : D
I only joined the discord to look for updates so I didnt post anything until now but you guys really outdid yourself with the game! My compliments to you and the dev team 🙂

Ah, I get it! It’s always a bummer when you’ve made so much progress but can’t access your save file anymore—we totally understand how frustrating that feels 🙁
