I don't know when this started, because I usually play this game intensely for a few days and then leave it for months, so this is the first time I have opened the game in a few months.
I am completely unable to play the game, I thought it was possibly because I had moved my save files from my SSD to my SATA hard drive to try and save space on the SSD, and the SATA drive just isn't as fast, so I swapped it back but the problem persists. I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game completely but the game is still unplayable.
I have tried to take a recording, but I don't know how successful it was, apologies! I hope this helps, please let me know if you need any more info from me or if the recording doesn't work, I'll try to get a better one!
Side note: the game still tries to open my HTC Vive on launch even though it isn't a VR game, I know that's a known issue, but I am wondering if somehow that's related to this issue? I think one frame every 5 seconds kinda isn't the intended experience 😂 Until today the game ran smooth as butter, no problems whatsoever, so while I am sure this is a problem I have somehow caused, I would love to find a fix because I love this game! I've played it on Xbox Game Pass previously (hence my save file is just in year 1 haha) and am looking forward to the new updates coming up. Thanks for your time!
