When you start the game, does everyone share a house or can they choose to spawn in different houses?

Yes, you can do the quest just like usual. Global world progression like ocean, altar, etc are shared

Does anyone know how hosting MP works? Usually, one player hosts and friend joins which means friend cannot play this world without host. Would this be the same?
