#What are the best ways to get (Glass/Scrap)? and other newbie questions

I heard that after a while you get very few trash in the ocean so I was worried on how much I should convert scrap > glass in kiln

Other questions

  1. Are horses useless here?
  2. Should I get the kitchen first or get to ranching via coop/barn?
  3. How do I speed up my character some more (currently using dash + sugar)
  4. What's better profit-wise? bugnet or fishing rod? (currently focusing on pickaxe and sickle)

After a certain rank you can buy glass

  1. yeah basically especially after you help with the altars you can just teleport everywhere
  2. Coop/Barn cooking is achievement and for gifts so not really necessary but once you do get coops and barns save small eggs and milk for a little while to get achievements later on in the game
  3. there’s a ring that makes you move a little faster I think but other than that would be what horse would be for
  4. depends on bug or fish you sell regardless the highest fish and highest bug require a higher level rod/net and you’ll need both for museum anyway

For the Scrap to glass you will get a LOT of them when you clear the ocean (but you use them for a couple of things so make sure you have some spare available) Also take into account you can turn stone into glass at the furnace (much less efficient in term of material cost) but you will get a LOT of stone from the mine too, so don't worry too much about not having glasses I'd say
