Hello! This isn't a laundry list, but a sum of a couple observations that occur. In summary:
- The fertilizer count is not accurate. In the screenshot, you can see only three of four are fertilized, but the counter says four.
- When a sapling dies upon season transition, the fertilizer remains. (Multiple-yield crops do not have this occur; it's specific to saplings.)
- I am unsure if fertilizer influences sapling quality on top of this, but I can't prove this. My qualities have been variable, but I don't know if osmium-quality saplings are correctly dropping as far down as silver or not.
Reproduction Steps
(Fertilizing)
- Plant a sapling on tilled and watered soil.
- Start fertilizing one tile at a time.
- Go "huh" at the UI.
(Fertilizer Remaining)
- End the day on day 28 of a season with a live, fertilized sapling (the final day the sapling would be alive).
- Go to the sapling on day 1 of the season it can no longer grow.
- Observe the fertilized ground under the dead sapling.
Repro Rate: Not every time.
