help!! my wardrobe is stuck outside in the field

Reproduction Steps:

• have starter house
• grab wardrobe on controller in decorator mode
• accidentally cancel decorator mode
• wardrobe gone! not in storage, nowhere to be found. assume it has been deleted and silently cry, scheming about how to get a new one
• upgrade house to have a kitchen because i run out of stamina SO fast
• walk outside into the field
• wardrobe is halfway buried in the field????????

really appreciate any help i can get on this 😭 i haven't tried to hit the wardrobe with a tool yet but i'm about to, will update if anything works but i don't have much hope since it gets edited in a totally different area

update: hitting it with a tool did nothing 😔

Thanks so much for letting us know @mellow temple ! We’ve seen a few other reports about indoor decor items getting stuck on the farm, and our team is already looking into it and working on a solution.

While we’re working on a fix, here’s something that players in the community have tried—it helped them, so hopefully it’ll help you too:

• After noticing your indoor decor item is stuck outside on the farm, head back inside your house.
• Enter Decor Mode and click Decorate.
• Try clicking around the house, especially the spot where you originally placed the item before putting it into storage. (If you’re not sure where that is, try clicking around different areas).
• The stuck item should reappear.
• Replace the item anywhere inside the house.
• Click Finish to exit Decor Mode.
• Check your farm again—your stuck item should now be gone!
