I love the game btw! I've just noticed that anytime I give a side quest item to someone and get the "Thank you!" response, that particular NPC won't say anything else until I completely close the game and re-open it (going to title and back in doesn't work).

I'm on Steam Deck so my OS is "SteamOS Holo 3.7.8". Lmk if you need any other info!! Peanut_ImOkay_Emoji

Hello @proud delta ! 🙌
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

If you play again and the issue still persists, a video would be incredibly helpful for our investigation — even a phone-recorded one is totally fine!

Thank you so much!approve2

sure !! it still happens anytime i give a quest item and talk to someone; i'll take a recording next time i play and get a quest !!

it's not really possible to get a recording of it since they respond "thank you!" when i give them the item and there's no more dialogue, then just continue to say that whenever i speak to them after that. here's an example of dinda and anne being stuck in the "thank you!" dialogue after i completed quests that required giving them items, and i'm at the tree planting festival where they should have other dialogue and it's been several in-game days since i completed those quests

the only fix i've found so far is fully closing the game and restarting it

To help us better understand the issue, could you please confirm whether you completed the errand a week before the Tree Planting Festival? During that week, did you consistently receive only the "thank you" dialogue, or did it happen only during the festival itself? Or does this occur randomly after completing the errand?

If possible, could you also share your save file and backup with us? That would really help us investigate further.

To retrieve them on Steam Deck, kindly follow these steps:

  • Open Steam Deck Desktop Mode
  • Go to: /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/
  • Inside this folder, you’ll see multiple folders with random numbers.
  • Look for the Coral Island folder, which has the code 1158160
  • Open that folder and go to:
    pfx → drive_c → Users<your username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames

Thank youapprove2
