Stamina fruit leaving me unable to move

Problem: I play on Xbox and I just got the stamina fruit for donating 200 items to the Museum. I eat it and it makes it so my character cannot move. I can dash and I can open my menu, but I cannot run, walk, or change directions at all. I have restarted the game multiple times and every time I eat the fruit, this happens to me. For now I will put the stamina fruit in a chest and wait for it to be patched. Hopegully soon! lol thanks!
