The trailer posted in the dev chat this morning indicates that Multiplayer is now available, but it's not showing as an update yet. Every post is vague about release dates, but the trailer is specific, in that it says it's available now..
When (specifically) can we expect this to reach Xbox X series?

What was said in the trailer was incorrect. The board at the end that says coming Summer 2025 is correct. There is not specific date.

Yeah, that's why im asking. Either the trailer is misleading, in which case it needs to be pulled, or there is a specific date planned.
The trailer is very specific that Multiplayer is available. That may be enough to convince some people to finally get the game where they've been holding off, in which case they're mis-selling the game.
