I have tried numerous times to get the event to start with no use. I go to Carpenter Corner in between 09:00-14:00, I've tried going into the Carpenter building too, nothing it triggering it. I've even tried waiting at Carpenter Corner before 09:00, to see if that would fix it, but it hasn't.
I'm playing with Steam on PC.
My game version is: v1.1b-1237
I use keyboard and mouse

I think that one is corridor, not corner. The corridor, you have to enter the building, then go in the corridor that goes from the business side to the living quarters side
