#Crash on boot since changing gpus

I added screen shots of the crash report from unreal. I haven't had this issue with other unreal engine games. This game ran on my laptop on amd's intergrated graphics and on my old nvidia 3060 card. I recently changed cards to an AMD 6700. I've tried verifying files and everything was fine there. I haven't tried a fresh install (yet). This is the first time I tried booting the game on this card. Any idea what's happening here?

Hello @chilly sable Thank you for the report. Have you tried reinstalling the game to see if that resolves the issue?

I was planning on trying that tonight when I got back from work and had the bandwidth for my internet without tanking the internet for everyone else in my house.

I get the same error as in the screenshots.

# chilly sable I have since reinstalled and that did not resolve the issue.

Could you also share your save file and crash log here later?
To find the save file, you can copy-paste this file path to the File Explorer:** %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames**

As for the crash log, it's located inside the Crashes folder located in the Saved folder (the XML file). Thank you so much.

Absolutely. Its a custom build.
Amd Ryzen 5600x
Asus strix b550-f gaming wifi II
32gb ddr4-3200 ram
Xfx radeon 6700 (the only change to my system recently. Prior to this it was an evga geforce 3060 and the game was working when using that card).

Hallo @chilly sable could you confirm whether you're using any mods or third-party apps? Thank you

I am not. I was playing vanilla on that save file.

Could you check if all your drivers are up to date after you changed your GPU, and could you try these steps to see if it helps resolve the issue, @chilly sable ?

  1. Turn off Steam Cloud for Coral Island,
    -Open your Steam Library
-Right-click on Coral Island > choose Properties
    -Go to the General tab
-Under Steam Cloud, uncheck the option:
"Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud for Coral Island"

  2. Move your save files,
-Go to this folder on your PC:
    %LocalAppData%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames
-Move everything in the SaveGames folder to another location outside the Coral Island folder (e.g., your Desktop)

  3. Verify game files,

  4. Launch the game and check if the issue still occurs.,

Let us know how it goes, or if you run into any trouble while trying these steps! Thank you.

We would like to confirm —have you ever created another save file besides the one you're currently using, and did you use any mods on that other save file previously?

I do have an edit to this, I looked into this and discovered I did use mods on an old pc for this game from nexus, I'm so sorry for just catching this now.

I forgot about this because the last time I played this game I was on a laptop, not my current pc
