#Production rate appears to be dependent on machine layout

.
Steam Deck. Look at the image to see the game version.

This is strange. I built and started both of these at the same time and they have had an abundance of source materials inside them since they began (only Osmium Cactus). They have never stopped producing since they began. They are identical, except that they are mirrored.

Here's the weird part. The column on the left creates honey slower than the one on the right.* There are always 6-8 Aging Barrels on the left that are never filled with honey. The Bee Houses on the left don't produce enough honey fast enough to keep the Aging Barrels full, but the Bee Houses on the right do.

What's weirder than that? I have another Shed with this exact same set up, I built and started the two columns in it at the same time, just like this one, and you guessed it, the row on the left in that other building also produces honey at a slower rate.

One of two things is happening here. Either 1) The Bee Houses on the left are producing honey slower OR 2) The Ageing Barrels on the left are converting honey to wine faster.

Hello @next light, thank you for sharing your findings with us! goatlove2

Could you also share a screenshot of the other Shed setup you mentioned?

Also, could you share your save file here so the team can take a closer look?

To find the file, if you have a PC that syncs with your Steam Cloud, you can find it by following these steps:

  • Open Windows Explorer
  • Copy and paste the following file path into the address bar: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames
  • Compress the SaveGames folder in a ZIP file and attach it here

Thank you so much for your help! approve2

Screenshot of the other Shed with the Kegs is attached.

Do you happen to know where the save files for this game are on the Steam Deck?

Thank you! And - yes, to find the file directly on Steam Deck, kindly follow these steps:

  • Open Steam Deck Desktop Mode
  • Go to: /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/
  • Inside this folder, you’ll see multiple folders with random numbers. Look for the Coral Island folder, which has the code 1158160
  • Open that folder and go to:
    pfx → drive_c → Users<your username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames

Thank you again, CATS! Llama_Saranghae_Emoji

Oh. I should mention. After I made this post, I filled my Cellar with Bee Houses to make extra Cactus Honey and I've been manually feeding that to my Shed Machines to keep them at highest production. This means, to test properly you will need to remove the Cactus and Strawberry from the Auto Chests, let them all finish processing, then add equal amounts of Cactus/Strawberry to the Auto Chests and let them run for a while so you can see the exact numbers they produce.
