Beach pier?

I’ve been trying to get the heart events for Suki and Alice to trigger. I assumed the “beach pier” was the wooden pier between the beach and the inn (around where the boats come in and where the diving pier is), but nothing is happening. I’ve run all over the place between Nina’s house & past the inn & nothing triggers. Am I missing something or is this a bug?

• I do go at the appropriate times/day/weather as indicated in the event notices, so that’s not it.
• I’m playing on Xbox, if that makes a difference.

Which event are you trying to trigger? There are some that are by the fire pit on that beach.

I’ve done the fire pit one. This is the next one where I’m supposed to go to the beach pier in the morning (between 6-12) on a thursday for suki. For Alice, it’s the one where I’m supposed to go to the beach pier between 18:00-20:00 in sunny weather. (I’m on 4 hearts with both sisters at this point)

Finally got the one for Alice to trigger. Just happened to do so after coming up from a dive. Maybe that’s what I need to do in the mornings on sunny thursdays to get the other one to work. 🤔
