Waiting for other players

I went to sleep and it says "Waiting for other players." But I'm playing alone. Should I press alt+f4? It bothers me that the day isn't saved because I've made so much progress. Does anyone know why this happens or what I should do?

The day should be saved, if I recall correctly
Pretty sure this shows up right before it rolls to new day. A reload should fix it
