I was playing and suddenly noticed that the item pick-up sound effect wasn't playing when I collected wood I dropped from trees, I then went on to notice a few other sound effects had stopped playing:
- The sound of the door when you enter houses.
- The sound of items being picked up.
- The rattling sound of trash cans when you rummage in them.
All of these things were just completely muted and silent. Rebooting the game fixed them, but wanted to report it anyway! All I can say is that it was raining on the day it happened, but it was still happening when I slept to a sunny day, so not sure if the rain is relevant or not.
The game reboot means I can't clip back showing it happening, but I will add a clip here if it happens again!
