The tree growing festival didn't trigger for me. It's year 2, spring 21. I did my morning chores, went to the underwater farm to water things, and went to the mines at around 12:40. I saw the boat, but no cut scene triggered to get us all there. I tried exiting/re-entering the mines multiple times but nothing happened.
PC/Steam. I've attached my save file of the day (should be morning of Spring 21) and the backup saves.
I'm going to reload the day and try again.

I thought it was in the mines proper, and the teleport takes you to the entrance to the mines
if it's a teleportation issue the devs need to turn off the teleport on that day

no, you meet up at the crossroad in the forest and connor takes you to the boat

After the mines didn't trigger I walked out but I saw no balloon blocking the path
so either way, there's a problem here that needs to be addressed

there is a minimum and maximum timer for the event to start

It says the event starts anytime between 9am and 2pm. I got there at 12:40

I am very confused by this, but also think a lot would be solved if the festival pamphlet told you what times things start and where to start them. (and also, the teleport should be turned off for relevant areas)

the notes are very easily forgotten 😌
I'll admit to user error but I still think from a design standpoint, it should remind you (or just trigger it in the mines too, idk, I saw the boat nad couldn't figure out why nothing was happening)
