Auto Chest issues

I have an auto chest filled with salted eggs next to five aging barrels, but it won't interact with em. How do I make it work?

Try picking up and then place again either the chest or the barrels. If something is moved with the architect desk or the decoration mode, it sometimes doesn't work with the auto chest

I haven't moved a thing in my shed where the auto chest is. I'll empty the auto chest, collect it, place it anew next the barrels(while they're empty), and see if it finally works
