Wanted to ask since trying to search for keywords in the bug reports didn't seem to bring this up... I found bugs pertaining to missing items, or a furnace seeming to use too much coal... but this is the opposite.
I moved my furnaces and auto chest into the shed to get them out of the way. Placed them with a set of scrap machines also tied to the set of 2 auto chests because I assumed there wouldn't be any kind of item overlap grab like there would be if I tried putting the scrap machines with the Kilns (I want scrap not glass lol). Except then it seemed like even before I put the coal in the chest... it was smelting things? I thought it mught be grabbing either scrap or trash as fuel, but removing those from the auto chest didn't stop it, it keeps smelting ore left in there.
Since the kilns are right next to them I wondered if it might be mistakenly grabbing from there somehow, but removing all wood and coal from there didn't stop it either.
Is this intentional or a bug? And has anyone else encountered this? I'm on PC (via Xbox rather than Steam)

I'm on PC and noticed this with Furnaces out on my farm just yesterday - I put some ore in them and they started running before any coal was added (Also after the coal I added ran out)
