  • Reproduction Steps: Whenever go to apply fertilizer to a seed the fertilizer number in my inventory goes down but the fertilizer isn't applied.
  • Repro Rate: Every time I use fertilizer it happens.
  • Game Platform: PlayStation 5

Hi @lament linden , thank you for reaching out to us! It seems that you were able to use fertilizer on other crops beside the seed, does it mean the issue only happen to specific seed types? Also, is it limited only to Fertilizer I or does it also happen to other fertilizer types? Thank you 😄

No, I planted those yesterday before I updated my PS5 today when I got home from work. I've only just started put this is the only fertilizer i have unlocked. After I updated Coral Island the fertilizer stopped working on my crops. It's weird that it still shows previously applied fertilizer but won't let me apply it now.

Yes, it keeps depleting no matter what seed I use it on, it still doesn't appear. I tried it on turnip,carrot and my cabbage seeds as well as the wild seeds, nothing appeared but they kept depleting.

I have reach Day 12 and I received the auto fertilizer for an achievement and when I filled it up after planting my cucumber seeds and placing the sprinkler, it looked like it was supposed to shooting something out but I didn't see anything? The seeds don't have the colorful effect of the fertilizer either.🥹

I'm having this issue on PS5 as well - fertilizer decreases in count from my inventory, but not making the sound or showing up on the tilled ground or seeds. happened a few in game days in a row. This is after the update yesterday.

@rocky niche The video as promised those are cucumber seeds I just planted right before using the fertilizer.

I have the same problem for PS5 since the update whenever I load fertilizer into the auto fertilizer then plant anything whatever I put in it shoots all the fertilizer to the same square over and over again. So I put in 5 fertilizers then plant artichoke it places all 5 fertilizer on the same square never crediting fertilizer was put there.

I also have the same problem as above where you manually place it never credits it. I have closed the game out and come back several times with no luck.

It seems to be any of the craft-able items that you would add to enrich the soil. For example, fertilizer, flash, and hydro items.

All of those that were there before the update are fine, but we haven’t been able to add those three item types since the update.

Hey, hey! Is there any kind of eta on this fix? Farming is the biggest part of my gameplay and I have 3 quests requiring osmium crops and have no way of using fertilizer to help. It’s been 2 weeks since the update that did this. I’m not mad, just a little frustrated.

I'm having the same issue (PS5). It's making it super difficult to get high quality crops in any meaningful amount, and in time for festivals. Does anyone have any idea what the ETA is on the next hotfix on consoles?

Same issue ! On day 1 year 3of a new season and can’t really plant anything atm so have had to stop playing til fixed :((

Hi no pressure but just wondering is there a timeline for an fix for this for ps5 ? I wanted to start a new game but know it will be difficult to sell quality crops for the early quests without fertilizer to move forward in the game.

Still an issue all this time later! Doesn't matter if it's manual fertiliser or using the auto SFH, it takes the fertiliser but does not actually fertilise anything. I'm also on PS5 and get the same issue no matter which seed I use.

I don't understand how something that was working perfectly can suddenly break and take so long to put back to how it was 😵‍💫

PS5 player here - this also happens to me. Since I only bought the game recently I just thought fertilizer was invisible. Disappointing to know that whenever I used fertilizer it wasn't doing anything! I am also wondering if that is why I had a crash today after planting and "using" fertilizer

Unfortunately, the timeliness of this issue, and the fact that it still has a man addressed, has really put a damper on me liking this game. The fact that an update for something so small, but so relevant to completing task in the game is taking months and months….

I love this game but have been putting it off for awhile because I want to start a new game. I am a bit shocked it’s taking almost 5 months to fix, although I do acknowledge I know nothing about creating a game and fixing things that go wrong. Hopefully it will be fixed soon especially before the update 🙏

My thinking is that most of the bugs are fixed, but patched into the 1.2 update to see how it behaves and fix what breaks. Since this update is really finicky and more prone to game breaking

I haven't read through everything here I'm at work but I've had the problem as well where if I use it it doesn't show but still consumes the fertilizer.
