Walter keeps appearing on my farm in the morning and takes a walk through my property to stare at my fence. He then disappears and walks through my farm to stare at the fence again.

Hello @fair citrus! The team has another question for you about this issue. Did you play through Winter 27 and then continue straight into Winter 28 without exiting or restarting the game?
If so, do you happen to have a video of what happened, or could you describe your in-game activities on Winter 27 in detail? Thank you so much!

Winter 28 was a different gaming session. I played the 27. Then took about a week off. When I opened my game to play again it was the 28 and Walter was on my farm. I spent part of the 27th mining in the wind mines and tending to my underwater crops, but I can't recall much else beyond that

Could you let us know which platform you’re playing on (Steam PC/Deck, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)? And do you remember the in-game date when Walter appeared on your farm?

I’m on Steam and it was Winter 28 and right from the morning, as if he spawns somewhere south on my farm at 6am and then walks up to the top exit of the farm and just stops right before getting to the end near the teleport rafflesia

Did you happen to play through Winter 27 and go straight into Winter 28 without exiting or restarting the game?

You can find it by copy-pasting this file path into your File Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames

I had the same bug on the same day. Using steam, played on my laptop, game crashed on day 28, I restarted and he was walking through my farm. I thought my laptop was just glitching so I closed out of the game. Then a day later I booted the game up on my desktop and there he was walking through my farm.
