Not registering loved gifts to Merfolk

• Title After giving loved gifts to Merfolk, it doesn’t register that you have given them gifts
• Reproduction Steps I have given multiple bottles of wine to Semeru which is a loved gift but I have gained no hearts and on his character sheet it doesn’t show that I have given any gifts
• Repro Rate Every time I try to give a gift to them
• Game Platform Xbox series X
• Game Version (This can be found right below the Exit button on the title screen or at the bottom right of your game screen) v1.1b-1232
• Input controller

Hi @paper hound , apologies for the inconvenience! Could you confirm if the issue only happens to Semeru or does it always apply for other Merfolks? In addition, can you record a video of yourself gifting Semeru a wine and open your relationship tab so we can take a closer look into the problem? Thank you 😄
