Xbox 1s crashing frequently the last week

Having a hard time playing the last week or so due to how much the game is lagging and crashing. The game lags quite a bit when running around, collecting large quantities of items from chest or while crafting, mining in the Savannah caves... Tonight it's crashed 3 times, always after a huge day of work of course... I just bought a huge lot of summer crops from the online store and moved them to a chest. One crash was right as I started the new years festival, one was while harvesting ocean crops and the last was while opening a chest on my farm... I have to stop playing cause it's getting frustrating now.

Just to clarify, were you playing on Xbox One or Xbox Series S when the crash occurred?
By any chance, do you have a video showing your in-game activities leading up to the crash? Thank you.

Sorry, I play on an Xbox Series X and an S and the back to back crashes were happening on the Series S. I don't have video but will save one when it happens again. We definitely notice more lag on the Series S in general.
