Indoor decoration outside - PC

I was decorating my house, when I tried to set up this plant decoration, it vanished from my items. I used the decoration mode. Later, when I walked outside, it appeared like this and I can´t remove it. Restart the game isn´t working too.

Reproduction steps: So, I was decorating the left room and wanted to set up my calendar to a wall. I couldn´t place it, but I clicked "place" anyways and later, when I closed the building mode, it was in the middle of the room and I couldn´t remove it. When I started the game on the next day, the calendar was back in my storage and suddenly, I had 2 of them. Same with the plants, but they didn´t show up in my storage but on the outside, like on the picture above.

Repro Rate: Just once.
Game Platform: Steam PC
Game Version: v1.1b-1237
Input Mode: Controller (playstation controller)

Could you let us know the area where you wanted to set your calendar and the plants previously? If you’re able to replicate the issue, could you record a video showing your detailed steps and when the issue occurs? This will help us better understand what’s happening.

I also experienced the same issue, but I ended up loaded one of the save files (I think 3 days backward) then the issue doesn’t happen

When you mentioned placing the Wardrobe in storage, did you happen to do that around Summer '17, and before upgrading your house level?

Also, did you use a controller when moving the Wardrobe into storage?

yep, correct.
so on Summer '17 I went to the carpenter to upgrade my house. later on in the afternoon, I donated some things and got Javanese range furnitures. I put the furniture on my house (all of them) and put the Wardrobe in the storage bcs there's small space left in the house.

on Summer '18 I'm not sure whether the bug occurs because I didn't check the farm.
on Summer '19 (when I go back using the back up save file), I realised the Wardobe is on my farm
on Summer '20 after the house is upgraded when I woke up and went out, the Wardrobe moves to the right side of the farm

yep I'm using controller to put the Wardrobe into the storage, but when I place the Javanese bed, chair, and small table, I'm using mouse

I'm on Xbox Series X! This item is stuck in the ground and sometimes, but rarely, I've seen underwater creatures spawn from it. It's been starfish- can't recall which ones specifically.

I can't seem to remove it.

hi Rachma. I have checked it and unfortunately I didn't have any other saves from April 4th. I think when I encountered the issues, I renamed it as my dailysave so it's already overwritten. I am sorry 😦

Honestly I have no idea what item it is 😅 it just appeared one day. It took me a bit to notice it as I had a tree blocking it visually.

It appears to be some sort of coral/underwater theme decoration, but I can't seem to figure out which one. I'll look through my decorations tonight and see if I can find what it might be!

Hard to know for sure as I didn't notice it right away, I'm on like year 4 and had the second upgrade for awhile. It's possible it was when I upgraded to 3.

I believe it was either spring or summer, I believe I upgraded early in the season then noticed it later

I don't know if it helps but I upgraded my house to level 3 for kids even though Im not currently married, and I do have the underwater farm unlocked.

I have the same issue, the day before I want to remove a decoration, and it disappear from the house and also from the decoration storage, and the in the morning I found it in my farm and can't remove it

I see! Just to confirm—are you upgrading your house from level 2 to level 3? Also, if you still remember, could you walk us through your in-game activities on Spring 4?

For example, what time did you visit the Carpenter to upgrade your house? Did you go into Decor Mode right after that? And were you playing with a controller, Bolin?

I think I visit the carpenter on spring 1, then it upgraded at spring 3 and I decor the new room upstairs, and on spring 4 I didn't like the the decor, try to remove it and redecorate it

And yes I use controller

Copy that! In Spring 4, did you try moving the Painting Decoration (that later appeared on your Farm) into the House Storage while in Decor Mode?

If so, do you happen to remember whether you checked the House Storage that day to see if the Painting was actually placed inside?

No I try to remove it, and I notice it went missing from any of the storage. Oh and I can't place new decoration on that wall where the missing decoration was

Also, looking at all of the screenshots, they all appear to be getting stuck in the same part of the farm. Top center-ish, greenhouse on the left in line with underwater seed thing.

@sudden sedge !! Sorry for the double ping but I think I figured out my decoration that is stuck! It's two! It's the cherry blossom plant! And a javanese chair!

This is my post, someone said that upgrading my house would fix it, so I did that, it did help, but it only moved it, at least now it's on the east edge and not in an area that is hard to work around, I can manage around it now until there's some kind of patch fix for it.

Thank you to this redditor, whoever this is, I fixed it!

Oh my god it worked!!! I found the chair and it's gone now off my farm! Now to hunt for the cherry blossom lol I can't remember where I put it original 😂

not sure if it's related, but I hit an auto harvester in my greenhouse and I had a full inventory and the items sorta disappeared but they reappeared in the same spot in my farm where the decorations got stuck. I was able to pick them up just fine. I wonder if my when I was decorating, I had a full inventory and they got lost in the void and popped up there?

Could be unrelated but found it weird it happened in the same spot haha!

I decorated my underwater house last night, and it happened the chimney somehow spawned on my farm not long after that lol. I did the tips and it still works
