Inventory rearranging constantly

Hello, I'm new and I'm sorry if this has been addressed already, but lately I've noticed my inventory keeps rearranging constantly every in game day and I'm not sure what even triggers it tbh, I play on Xbox and the only option I have when it comes to inventory sorting is pressing the R analog and it basically arranged it by I'm assuming type? So I just rearrange it back to how I want it after hitting R stick. I'm not sure if there's something wrong or if this is just one of those bugs that will be addressed later on, which is fine with me ofc, just wanted to know if there was anything I could do for it or not

Also, I tried adding a tag but I couldn't get it to work so I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do that or not, sorry in advance and thanks for your time 🙏

I'm currently on series s, I'll have to try to catch a video of it happening. It happens randomly so I never know till I go in my inventory and see that it's rearranged

I can likely do a SS of how I usually keep it and how it looks when it rearranges it easier than a video but I'm not sure how helpful that would be

The first one is how I normally have my inventory arranged, the second is what it looks like when it rearranges, and the third is what it looks like if I click the sort button

Hmm, did you happen to change the inventory slot while using the inventory toolbar (the item list at the bottom of the screen) before? 😮

I've always just changed things manually by dragging them where I want them

Well the issue doesn't happen when I drag it, it happens randomly when I'm not even in the menu, that's why I can't capture a video

Oh! Sorry for the misunderstanding. Since this happens randomly, could you share the in-game activities you were doing before you noticed the issue if you still remember? Any details would be super helpful for us to try and replicate it on our end.

It still happens randomly, Its happened when I craft something, when I ship something, when I fast travel, when I store stuff in chests. I've had it happen when I've just been wandering around collecting bugs or fish and I go to my inventory and it'll be rearranged
