Semeru stuck hearts

For some reason Semeru's heart level is frozen at 7. I've tried the save on a different computer, skipping through weeks to give him gifts asap, even tried Wemod's fast hearts mod to see if that would get them to go up- nothing I've tried has worked. He was gaining hearts fine until the mermaid chaperone quests and then it stopped working entirely.

Also- other than wemod I haven't used any sort of mods in the game.

and I'm not sure Wemod could have caused the issue since I didn't fiddle with any hearts/relationship edits until AFTER the issue started to see if it would resolve said issues.

Have you tried removing the mod completely to see if his heart level finally goes up? 😮

oh- the way wemod works is kinda just a simplified cheatengine (where its an application you run with the game but don't actually have to do anything to the files) and yes- I have double checked that running with wemod and without still has the same issue.

Can you let us know what gifts you gave him and how many weeks you skipped to see if his heart level changed? 😮

As for weeks- I tried for about 4 or so skipping through.
but I had been consistently giving him gifts with no change since the previous year.

so at least 2 or 3 in game months of no change.
