Are the critter spawn rates bugged by any chance? I'm on Summer year 2 and haven't had a single horseshoe crab, calico lobster, or mauve stinger jellyfish spawn. I use the computer every night to check, but they're never there.
Is there anything I can do besides hoping I'll catch one in a trap? I haven't had any luck on that end either.

Sure! I'm playing on steam deck so it might take me a bit to find and send the file though. As for more details, I don't have too many more...basically every night in-game I have checked the computer and these three critters have never once spawned.

Oh if that's the case, are other night critters appears on the map other than the horseshoe crab, calico lobster, and mauve stinger jellyfish? and have you tried using traps instead to see if they still can capture those 3?

Yes, other night critters like the blue crab appear on the map! I've tried using traps but had no luck so far.
