Level 56 Cave of Memories Crash

Reproduction Steps: I was breaking rocks and eggs in cave of memories on level 56 with my pickaxe. The whole screen froze. Player couldn’t move. Crash report came onto screen.

Repro Rate: This has happened to me once but I’ve read it happen to others.

Game Platform: Steam deck

Game Version: v1.1b-1236

Input Mode: xbox controller

If you have a PC that syncs with your Steam Cloud, could you send us the crash log from after the crash and your save file? You can find it by following these steps:

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Copy and paste the following file path into the address bar: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes
3. Sort the files by date to find the most recent one
4. Send us the .xml file from that folder

The save file is located inside the Saved folder too but under the SaveGames folder (the DailySave[number].sav file)

hello @winter pier, this same thing happened to me (i wasnt paying attention exactly which floor but it was either 56 or 54) and my game crashed as well with the same pop up

i THINK it happened as i clicked on the hole to go down im not 100% sure i couldve been using an axe on a rock

Do you remember if you're using any explosives before you click on the hole? If so, what type of Explosive was it?

Additionally, could you share your SaveGames folder with us?
You can find it by copying and pasting this file path into File Explorer:

i believe this is my save file!!! and im pretty sure what happened was i used an explosive 2 but im not 100% positive of the timing like whether it was before or after finding the hole on the above floor im pretty sure i made it to level 54/56 and then the black screen happened before i laid anything down. sorry i couldnt be more helpful with the specifics!!
