This issue is less the game file itself its the Game it will not stay on one selected screen. I'm sure this used to be fine but having returned to the game it now defaults to the Windows designated Primary screen, no other game does this on steam once I move it to another screen then it always stays on that screen unsure if this is a bug or perhaps just not something implemented for people with Multiple screens in this case I have 3, the gaming one however is not classed as my main.
Alternatively other games; BG3 for example simply has a drop down of all screens available and locks to what you set.
Each time I play I have to go to Settings > Graphics > Display mode > Set to full screen drag to the correct screen and then set back to borderless.
