#An auto chest bug

Reproduction Steps: wake up. Get out of the house and reach the shed that contains kegs and auto chests. Realize that the leftmost keg does not fill up despite there are enough materials in the chests.
IMO the material that should go into that keg might have circled around the entire conveyor belt and went into the rightmost keg instead but then again IDK how the code regarding auto chests are written so it's just my own speculation.
Repro Rate: IDK once in a while? At least from my attached video I think it does not 100% occur every time.
Game Version: Steam on PC, v1.1b-1236
Input Mode: Keyboard and mouse

See attached video for more info. The bug only occurred on the second time loading.
Didn't get to see the complete updates of this thread but most likely it's something similar if not identical to this one.

its a known (and long running) bug. restarting the game or picking up the chest and putting them down again temporarily fixes the issue

Hi @tropic plover , thank you for bringing this to our attention! After checking your Save File, it looks like the left keg was processing starfruit juice, but there are no starfruits left in your auto chest. Once a keg starts processing a specific fruit, it can only process that type until it's done.

So, unless you have more starfruit, the auto chest won't supply any fruit to that keg until it finishes the juice. I hope this clears things up! approve2

as far as my experience tells me i think auto chests can process different types of fruits in the same keg; please let me know (or mark it as another bug) if its not the case, thanks!

But as mentioned before, once a keg starts processing specific fruit, it can only process that type until it's done. So it should fill up with other types once it's done processing the starfruit juice 😉

Sorry, is the bug not the fact that you had 2 in the keg on the left and 4 in the keg on the right? It was 3 and 3 before you reloaded the day. How would that happen?
