My Wife dc'd from our playthrough and joined back. when she joined back she was a default male with no progression (tools, energy, health, relationships) from 5 minutes prior. since then, we have restarted the game on both ends multiple times. she is the same character on my screen.

Hi @vernal moss , Multiplayer beta playtest branch closed on Feb 1st, and unfortunately Steam didn’t automatically move some players back to the main branch. You can manually switch by going to Properties → Betas → select "None" to get back to the main version.
Also, we’ve seen similar reports about the issue you’re experiencing. The team is aware and actively working on a fix. Thank you for your understanding!
